About The Position

This outpatient orthopedic clinic in Grain Valley, MO provides physical therapy care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic serves a broad patient population, from age 11 to 90, and sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week. The clinical team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, with documentation completed in WebPT. The clinic accepts major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna. The Physical Therapist will provide patient evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, deliver skilled physical therapy services, educate patients on recovery strategies, and monitor progress throughout the plan of care. This is a full-time role with flexible schedule options and competitive compensation. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and experienced clinicians may qualify for the higher salary range.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with patients across a broad age range

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, balance activities, gait training, and functional rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on home exercises, recovery goals, safe movement, and activity progression
  • Reassess patient progress and update treatment plans when appropriate
  • Document all patient care in WebPT
  • Collaborate with PTAs and clinical team members to support patient care
  • Communicate with providers and referral sources when needed
  • Help patients improve movement, strength, function, and daily activity tolerance
