About The Position
Functional Pathways is currently hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist at Mennowowood Retirement Community in Newport News, VA. This role involves screening, evaluating, re-evaluating, discharge planning, and revising established plans of care under physician supervision. Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
- Active state license required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, and clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure
Responsibilities
- Screen patients

- Discharge plan patients
- Make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
