About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for their Outpatient Rehabilitation facility. This clinic, located on Hwy 287 southeast of I-35, specializes in sports and orthopedics and has strong connections with a local sports medicine physician group and local high school and collegiate athletes. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual therapy skills, experience with sports and athletes, a focus on orthopedic care, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Requirements

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
Manage a patient caseload averaging 10-12 patients per day.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge.
Interpret assessment/diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Promote continuous quality improvement.
Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed.
