About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent potential opportunity for a Physical Therapist to work on-site at the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This is a full-time or part-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule. The role involves diagnosing and managing movement dysfunction, enhancing physical and functional abilities, and restoring optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life related to neuromusculoskeletal health. The Physical Therapist will also focus on preventing the onset and progression of impairments and providing orthopedic clinical care for individuals aged 15-64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
  • Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
  • Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records

Responsibilities

  • Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members
