About The Position
As a Physical Therapist at Chippenham Hospital, you help patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. You work closely with physicians and the care team to assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans focused on meaningful goals, active engagement, and patient outcomes. Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
- Monitor patient progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately and on time.
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence.
- Collaborate across disciplines to provide cohesive, patient-centered care and support smooth transitions throughout recovery.
- Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.
