About The Position

Our mission is to help students thrive by providing flexible, student-centered support while empowering providers to do meaningful work from wherever they are. We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide remote services for an Illinois school district. This opportunity involves supporting an 11th-grade student with autism who is currently receiving homebound instruction and requires compensatory services. Due to prior challenges with virtual screen engagement, services will begin in a consultative model, with a primary focus on coaching the parent to implement strategies and support the student effectively.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required
- Strong communication and parent coaching skills
- Comfortable providing teletherapy and consultative services
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred
- Experience supporting students with autism preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide remote physical therapy services for an Illinois school district.
- Support an 11th-grade student with autism receiving homebound instruction and compensatory services.
- Begin services in a consultative model, focusing on coaching the parent to implement strategies and support the student effectively.
- Collaborate with onsite providers as needed during the current school year.
- Provide fully virtual services during Extended School Year (ESY).
