About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Round Rock, TX (Teravista) is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) with a special interest in oncology to join their team. This outpatient position offers varying hours Monday-Friday between 7 am and 7 pm. The center provides high-level care to active adults with general orthopedic diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, sports-related injuries, and work-related injuries. They are looking to expand the BSW Rehab ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual therapy skills, be motivated, innovative, organized, autonomous, and eager to contribute to program development. The environment supports clinician development, including certifications and specializations, with mentorship available. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program offers rehabilitative services to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by cancer, providing necessary education and training for therapists treating this diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
• Current Physical Therapy State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR required

• Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)

Responsibilities

• Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
• Complete and maintain required trainings
• Maintain compliance with government regulations
• Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
