About The Position
Young Minds Early Enrichment, LLC is a NYC DOH Approved Early Intervention Agency seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic NYS Physical Therapist to provide home-based and community-based services to children ages birth to 3. This role involves working in natural therapeutic settings to evaluate mobility, strength, and current levels of function, setting attainable goals, and assisting with daily skills in alignment with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Requirements
- NYS Physical Therapy License
- 1-2 years working with special needs children and/or pediatric experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- CPR Certification

- Prior experience in Early Intervention
Responsibilities
- Provide natural therapeutic setting-based physical therapy services to children ages birth to 3.
- Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of function.
- Set goals to improve mobility, strength, and function that are scaled to child’s abilities and realistically attainable.
- Assist with daily skills while following goals and outcomes from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
