About The Position

This is an open-pooled position. Applicants' education/experience will be considered and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level, as appropriate. The role directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. The therapist provides physical therapy services under the guidelines set by the Practice Act and Rules of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy. The therapist serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards, while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy or Doctoral from an accredited program.
  • Zero (0) years' related experience (for Physical Therapist).
  • Five years’ related experience (for Senior Physical Therapist).
  • Texas PT licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE).
  • Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas (for Senior Physical Therapist).
  • Maintain active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Approved by American Heart Association).
