About The Position

The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a clinic setting. The PT will work with other clinical staff to provide quality care for patients in a safe and professional manner. The PT will also be responsible for developing and implementing a physical therapy plan of care for patients based on their individualized assessment. The ideal candidate will have a background in or an interest in post-acute rehabilitation, geriatric care, or a physical therapy program of study.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited APTA program for Physical Therapy.
  • Holds a current license as a Physical Therapist issued by the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience with the pediatric population.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team-based atmosphere.
  • Motivated to meet productivity targets and contribute to company growth.
  • Solid work history and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to effectively & professionally communicate verbally and in documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with or desire to learn Telehealth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care by administering therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
  • Collect and record patient medical and clinical data.
  • Perform physical examinations on selected populations of patients.
  • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
  • Provide quality patient care by following established protocols, procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Maintain accurate records by accurately recording patient medical and clinical data.
  • Work cooperatively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Can provide treatment for children with a variety of diagnoses.
  • Maintains and manages a full-time caseload with a target of 62.5% productivity.
  • Educates families/caregivers on home program strategies to increase success.
  • Participates in continuing education in order to lead the community with new treatment and evaluation techniques.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with families, colleagues, referral sources, and community agencies.
  • Manages administrative responsibilities such as timely documentation per discipline guidelines and productivity tracking.
