About The Position

Pacific Coast Post-Acute in Salinas is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join their premier rehabilitation team. As a center of clinical excellence, they provide advanced sub-acute and restorative care to the Monterey County community. This role involves working with a diverse caseload including post-surgical orthopedics, neurological recovery, and complex medically fragile residents in a high-acuity clinical setting. The facility boasts one of the region’s largest rehab gyms with a full ADL Suite to simulate real-world recovery. The position offers professional autonomy, a collaborative environment with Nurses, OTs, SLPs, and Physicians, and requires precise clinical documentation.

Requirements

Current, valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license.
A passion for geriatric and sub-acute rehabilitation with a focus on functional outcomes.
Openness to working with international clinicians and willingness to be sponsored if qualified.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed initial assessments, identifying functional limitations and developing goal-oriented treatment plans for sub-acute residents.
Implement evidence-based treatments focusing on gait training, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
Manage the critical transition from inpatient recovery to home, ensuring residents have the mobility and confidence to return to their communities.
Work closely with a world-class team of Nurses, OTs, SLPs, and Physicians to coordinate holistic, resident-centered care.
Maintain precise, compliant documentation in accordance with California state regulations and facility standards.
