The Physical Therapist delivers patient care by evaluating patients and developing and administering treatment plans for a wide variety of outpatient conditions. The role serves pre-operative, post-operative, and non-operative orthopedic patients referred by physicians or other sources, as well as patients evaluated under Direct Access guidelines. The therapist applies therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with professional guidelines and state practice acts, and documents care in keeping with regulatory and department requirements. This is a full-time position based at the Hugo clinic and other OSI locations. Hours are to be determined, and the schedule may vary according to clinic needs, including variable shifts and work at multiple locations. The role collaborates with physicians, managers, and staff, may directly supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant, and requires independent work with minimal supervision. The therapist also maintains a safe environment, completes continuing education to maintain state licensure, shares relevant knowledge with staff and the community, and may occasionally participate in TCO outreach events.
