About The Position
UPMC is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team at UPMC Outpatient Center, 416 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while helping individuals regain function, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. The clinic operates Monday & Wednesday from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday & Thursday from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. A full-time schedule consists of 8-hour shifts within clinic operating hours.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to read, interpret, and document information in medical records.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the practicing state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Act 33 Clearance
- Act 34 Clearance
- Act 73 FBI Clearance

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy treatments for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapist assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Supervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a clinical instructor for students when applicable.
