TailorCare is a remote-first company with our corporate office located in Nashville. We are seeking passionate Physical Therapists to join our growing TelePT Network as independent 1099 contractors. Our ideal candidates are committed to improving the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of healthcare through innovative virtual care delivery. Applicants should have experience treating orthopedic conditions and be comfortable providing care through both synchronous and asynchronous telerehabilitation platforms. Due to strong interest and continued growth, we are currently recruiting licensed Physical Therapists residing in any U.S. state. Compact licensure is preferred. We are especially interested in clinicians with flexible availability to support patients across multiple U.S. time zones.

Requirements

  • Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy with a strong orthopedic clinical background
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • Active professional liability insurance
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare processes
  • Prior experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery
  • Experience integrating technology into rehabilitation and patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in Shared Decision Making (SDM) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills in a remote care environment
  • Comfortable working within digital platforms and asynchronous care models

Responsibilities

  • Screen patients via Zoom, phone, and text outreach
  • Assign and modify digital musculoskeletal (MSK) care plans based on individual patient needs
  • Determine patient suitability for digital rehabilitation pathways
  • Document all patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receive patient assignments through both scheduled visits and on-demand care workflows
  • Maintain a minimum availability of 8 hours per week (or 30 hours per month), with schedules posted at least one week in advance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • This position is classified as an independent contractor (1099) engagement and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
  • Benefits exclusions include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), and company-observed holiday pay.
  • Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations, including self-employment taxes and are encouraged to consult a tax professional regarding their independent contractor status.
