About The Position

Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys providing individualized care and helping patients improve their mobility, function, and independence. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Mississippi Physical Therapy license required.
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' strength, range of motion, functional mobility, balance, coordination, and other physical abilities based on their diagnosis, precautions, and individual needs.
Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, transfers, function, and independence.
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress throughout treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and treatment units.
Identify patient needs and develop appropriate solutions to challenges encountered during assessment and treatment.
Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient treatment, goals, progress, and discharge recommendations.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safe and effective rehabilitation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
