A PRN Therapist consistently provides effective direct care to a variety of complex patients. In doing so, they contribute independently to an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery across the continuum of care. This position will be primarily working with Peri-operative patient population to assist with safe disposition following surgery and provide recommendation on follow up plan of care. Please note that this position requires availability to work one late shift (8:00 PM or later, based on patient care needs) per pay period (15 days), up to a total of 12 hours per pay period, and one designated holiday. All scheduling is contingent upon patient care needs. Primary focus for this role is to provide clinical care, but they are also expected to complete administrative and clinical projects as assigned by supervisory staff if needed. They help negotiate the health care system to maximize the delivery of quality care and to minimize cost of patient care service. These therapists also seek and provide feedback for improved clinical practice across the spectrum of care in the health system. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
