About The Position

Performs duties of a physical therapist including direct patient care, evaluations and plans of care. Works in close cooperation with therapy coordinators to provide seamless delivery of care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• Kansas licensure
• Heath Care Provider CPR

Nice To Haves

• Physical therapy experience preferred
• APTA/KPTA membership optional

Responsibilities

• Consults with physicians regarding patient treatments, equipment, needs, and department direction.
• Performs physical therapy services to patients of all ages as required including patient evaluation, treatment, plan of care and progression.
• Ensures the completion of patient care to all patients referred for physical therapy services.
• Responsible for equipment and work areas to meet compliance with hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Assumes additional responsibilities, duties and projects as requested or assigned.
