Physical Therapist - Sports Rehab
About The Position
The Physical Therapist will work onsite at East Madison Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, guiding patients of all ages through rehabilitation programs following specialized sports surgeries. The role coordinates care and collaborates with sports primary care physicians and sports orthopedic surgeons, provides specialty services using video analysis of sport biomechanics, assesses athletes for return to sport, and works with sports performance staff. This is a 100% FTE position at 40 hours per week, scheduled as four 10-hour day shifts between Monday and Friday. The schedule includes two shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and two shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; hours may vary based on departmental operational needs. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Two years of prior relevant experience is preferred.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within three months of hire.
