About The Position
Physical Therapist Coconut Creek, FL | $85K–$90K/year + Full Benefits Looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist position with consistent Monday-through-Friday hours? An orthopedic physical therapy office in Coconut Creek is seeking an experienced PT to evaluate and treat patients dealing with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, limited mobility, pain, and functional movement challenges. Your role will follow patients throughout the rehabilitation process, from the first assessment through treatment progression and eventual discharge.
Requirements
- An active Florida PT license
- A DPT or MSPT degree
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Ability to independently manage patient evaluations and treatments
Responsibilities
- Assess new patients and establish appropriate physical therapy goals
- Build treatment programs around each patient’s diagnosis and functional needs
- Guide patients through exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Provide orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation interventions
- Reassess progress at appropriate points throughout treatment
- Make clinical changes when patients need a different approach
- Explain exercises and home recommendations in clear, practical terms
- Keep patient charts and clinical documentation current
