About The Position

Full-Time Physical Therapist Outpatient – Sunnyview Rehab Services - S ocha Plaza 115 Saratoga Road - Glenville , NY. Patient and Staff friendly productivity standards. Our patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatric depending on the location to include both orthopedic and neurological conditions. This may include but is not limited to chronic and acute pain, post operative care (ranging from total joint replacements to ACL reconstruction), sports injuries, CVA, SCI, vestibular and balance/movement disorders, LE Amputation, along with opportunities in various specialties.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree.
Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written

Nice To Haves

1 year of Physical Therapy preferred

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you are responsible for direct patient care.
Integrate elements of patient/client management, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions in a manner designed to maximize patient’s functional outcomes.
Formulate comprehensive treatment program by evaluating patient’s past medical history, disease/condition, impairments, disability and functional/developmental status
Accurately assess patient’s rehab needs through the continuum of care and provide appropriate disposition , equipment, education and treatment recommendations in a timely manner
Document treatments and patient progress according to professional, department policies and procedures.
