About The Position
Physical therapy helps patients get back to movement that everyday life. In this role, you will support patients who want to walk with more confidence, return to work, manage pain, rebuild strength, or recover after a physical setback. As a Physical Therapist, you will be involved in the full patient care process, from evaluation and treatment planning to hands-on care, education, progress tracking, and discharge preparation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Current Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new patients and gather information about pain, mobility, function, and goals
- Develop treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
- Provide therapy sessions that may include exercise, stretching, strengthening, balance work, manual therapy, and mobility training
- Help patients understand their plan of care and what they can do between visits
- Monitor progress and make updates to treatment when needed
- Complete documentation that reflects patient progress and care provided
