About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. The therapist assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities. This is a per diem Monday through Friday (day/evening flex) position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, NY. All roles require on-site presence. Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
- Current NYS PT licensure
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Responsibilities
- Use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility.
- Provide one-on-one therapies tailored to meet individual patient needs.
- Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning.
- Communicate with physicians, referring providers, multidisciplinary staff, and administrative personnel.
