Requirements
- Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Active or pending state physical therapist license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in treating sports-related injuries.
- Experience in treating spine and joint conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapy services to patients with non-surgical and post-operative presentations.
- Manage a diverse mix of sport-specific rehabilitation and joint and spine management.
- Collaborate with AdventHealth colleagues, surgeons, and referral sources to develop comprehensive healthcare approaches.
- Participate in mentorship, advanced training, and certifications.
- Engage in OCS preparation collaboratives and the TPS Orthopedic Residency Program.
- Advance career through various clinical paths, potentially leading clinics, directing operations, or launching new facilities.
