About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA. This role involves evaluating new patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, administering therapeutic treatments, and documenting patient care. The Physical Therapist will also educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare teams, and provide guidance to support staff. Maintaining compliance with policies and participating in professional development are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
BLS certification required
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to perform clinical documentation and patient evaluations

Nice To Haves

Clinical Specialist certification (if applicable)
Experience mentoring or supervising staff/students
Prior experience in rehab or acute care settings

Responsibilities

Evaluate new patients and establish measurable treatment goals
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Perform diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities
Administer therapeutic treatments and adjust plans based on patient progress
Document patient care, progress, and treatment outcomes accurately
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and care plans
Collaborate with medical and allied health teams for patient care and discharge planning
Provide guidance to PT Assistants, aides, and students
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and departmental policies
Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities
