Physical Therapist
About The Position
We are recruiting for a Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Belton, Missouri. This role is ideal for a PT who wants to work with a steady caseload, provide meaningful patient care, and continue growing in a professional clinical setting. The primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, creating variety in treatment planning, recovery goals, and functional needs. The clinic sees patients covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable treating patients across different ages and activity levels
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations for new patients
- Reassess patient progress throughout the plan of care
- Build treatment plans for orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, mobility issues, weakness, and post-surgical needs
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, movement training, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on home exercises and safe ways to support recovery
- Adjust treatment plans based on progress and clinical response
- Document care accurately in WebPT
- Collaborate with PTAs and team members to maintain quality patient care
