About The Position

We’re seeking Full time Physical Therapists to work within an Inpatient Hospital setting in Gainesville, FL. They’re offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus plus Relocation Assistance! New Grads welcome to apply. A brand-new state of the art 90-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center opening in May 2026. The hospital will feature comprehensive emergency care, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery including orthopedic surgery, general surgery and spine surgery, and a 30-bed in-patient rehabilitation unit. As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Requirements

  • 1+ years of Physical Therapist experience is preferred but does not have to be in acute care. Willing to consider any experience.
  • State Licensed Physical Therapist Required
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelors degree Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
  • Monitor progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
  • Leading by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding the hospital’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
