About The Position

Will work as part of an inpatient rehab team on diagnosis specific units. Performs initial evaluation and treatment of patients; Responsible to provide patient care for inpatient as well as outpatient coverage if the need arises; Assist Lead Therapist with mentoring and or orientation of new or newly rotated staff; participate in PT student programming; other duties as assigned. You must pass competencies for this position.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State
• One year of post-licensure experience

• Experience in outpatient programs
• Familiarity with outpatient regulations
• Familiarity with documentation requirements
• Experience working with a team
• Strong ability to monitor therapy progress
• Strong ability to create home carryover programs
