About The Position

As a Physical Therapist, you will complete comprehensive patient assessments, develop a patient-centered plan of care and implement best practice physical therapy interventions to help patients achieve their highest desired state of health and well-being. Marshall is a nonprofit community healthcare provider in El Dorado County, established in 1956. Marshall includes Marshall Hospital, a fully accredited acute care facility with 111 beds located in Placerville; several outpatient facilities in Cameron Park, Placerville, El Dorado Hills, and Georgetown; primary and specialty care clinics, more than 190 affiliated physicians and providers, as well as a team of more than 1,600 employees providing quality healthcare services to residents of El Dorado County.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist, by the Board of Medical Examiners, State of California
  • Current Healthcare Worker Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Knowledge and application of Physical Therapy professional practice, code of ethics and regulatory requirements
  • Competent working knowledge of standard practice procedures and equipment used in delivering physical therapy in the inpatient and/or outpatient environment
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow infection control procedures in patient care settings
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize patient care needs
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinical documentation systems
