About The Position

Partnership Health, an outpatient Family Practice in Toms River, NJ, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a per diem position. This role will cover sick days and vacations for our current Physical Therapists in Toms River and Brick, NJ. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following an injury or illness.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid NJ state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Knowledge of physiology and acute care practices
• Strong communication skills and empathy for patient care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to determine their physical therapy needs
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities
• Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to assist patients in regaining movement and strength
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and techniques for continued improvement
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
