About The Position

Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist to join their well-established and growing physical therapy Practice in their North Hills (McCandless) office. Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services, to ensure quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for their patients. With a high volume of patient referrals from the orthopaedic surgeons at Tri-State Orthopaedics, therapists dedicate the majority of their time to patient care, not marketing. Therapists utilize state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to provide each patient with an individualized and complete rehabilitation program. This coordination and continuity of care, with close and constant communication among physicians and therapists, helps to enhance patients' recovery process. TSPT has five convenient office locations with spacious gyms and advanced technology used by professional athletes, including Aquatic Therapy, Pilates, and IASTM for soft tissue mobilization. They also offer a variety of Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services for athletes, including student athletes in addition to injured workers, weekend warriors and Medicare-aged seniors. Requirements

  • At least two years of outpatient orthopaedic experience
  • Must be an upbeat, dynamic and outgoing individual excited about joining a busy and growing Practice.
  • New grads with strong orthopaedic knowledge and manual skills are encouraged to apply.
  • EMR experience is a plus.
  • Full-time 40-hour weekly work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Providing physical therapy services, including patient evaluations and follow-up treatment while developing a plan of care with revisions as necessary.
  • Assisting in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within the patients' capabilities.
  • Consulting with physicians regarding progress and change in treatment and assisting the physicians with evaluating level of function with the goal to achieve maximum function for every patient.
  • Performing skilled evidence-based procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
  • Preparing daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
  • Instructing patients and family members regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
  • Supervising office Therapy Aides and Certified Athletic Trainers.
