About The Position

Responsible for outstanding delivery of physical therapy services including evidence-based patient care and patient engagement while following company policies. The position involves performing clinic care and physical therapist duties in accordance with the clinic and patients' needs. It requires promoting and having knowledge of and utilizing appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical, cognitive, neurological, psychosocial, and functional needs for ANR’s patient population. Establishing physical therapy interventions based upon the evaluation and examination, physician orders, and patient’s goals for therapy is key. The role also includes providing for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals, making recommendations for needed patient care equipment prior to patient discharge, and documenting findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames. Submitting all patient billing at the end of each day and instructing patients/family members in home programs are also essential duties. Demonstrating effective time management and complying with quality improvement standards are expected.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy.
  • Current physical therapy license in Arizona.
  • Current CPR certification.
