About The Position

Resolution Think, LLC is seeking to hire a Physical Therapist to support an embedded human performance program with the Air National Guard (ANG) Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) and Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) community. You will work side-by-side with elite tactical athletes — TACP Officers (19Z) and TACP Specialists (1Z3) — whose operational readiness depends on staying durable, recovering quickly, and performing at the highest level. The Human Performance Optimization (HPO) program treats the operator as a "human weapon system," integrating physical therapy and strength and conditioning to reduce injury risk, accelerate recovery, and extend career longevity.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; the aerospace industry; test pilot/astronaut support; or a similar man-machine, high-performance environment.
  • Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license, plus current basic CPR certification including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • Favorable Tier 1 security investigation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the embedded, independent Doctor of Physical Therapy and the subject-matter expert for musculoskeletal injury management, injury prevention, and performance enhancement in support of personnel readiness.
  • Conduct examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, prognoses, interventions, and outcome assessments within your scope of practice; complete an in-processing assessment for all newly assigned personnel.
  • Independently manage complex neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions using neuromuscular control, corrective and postural exercises, and self-corrective movement strategies.
  • Provide primary injury-prevention services for acute and duty-limiting conditions, including physical-capacity and new-member assessments, health education, and nutrition advising.
  • Develop Individual Training Plans after initial assessment, with feedback sessions and modifications to ensure a safe and expeditious return to training.
  • Advise unit commanders on injury prevention and rehabilitation; develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the PT program.
  • Advise leadership on supplies, equipment purchases, and fiscal requests tied to interventions; ensure safe, effective operation of patient-care equipment.
  • Maintain patient-care records in accordance with DHA-PM 6025.02, Vol. 1, using mandated Government electronic systems and databases.
  • Attend staff meetings to review and improve physical-training programs; engage in operator-specific training when approved by the COR.
