About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and motivated new graduate Physical Therapists for their teams in Missouri, specifically in Joplin, Springfield, and Lebanon. This role offers a structured orientation, dedicated clinical support, and experienced PT mentors to help new graduates transition into independent practice while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes. Home health allows for meaningful patient connections and the opportunity to help individuals remain safely and independently in their homes. BAYADA emphasizes support for new clinicians, ensuring they build confidence and skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
