Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and supporting clinic success. This involves synthesizing pertinent information from patient referrals and medical records, diagnosing movement dysfunction through various analyses and examinations, and developing individualized, evidence-based plans of care. Therapists will utilize interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and biofeedback to achieve patient goals. They will also evaluate and document patient progress, educate patients on their recovery process, and follow up to ensure adherence to the plan of care. Additionally, the role involves connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of clinic therapies and potentially providing clinical instruction to student rotations.
