About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based therapy services to students within a school in Baltimore, Maryland. The PT will provide assessments and direct and indirect services in accordance with each student’s IEP or IFSP requirements.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist license

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP or IFSP.
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and reassessments using appropriate standardized procedures and tools.
- Develop IEP/IFSP goals and objectives based on assessment results and students’ functional and educational needs.
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, service records, and required clinical documentation.
- Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings and assist with assessment interpretation and recommendations for services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, service coordinators, and other school-based professionals.
- Complete required electronic documentation and Third Party Billing data entry within required timelines.
- Develop and maintain therapy schedules and travel between assigned school or service locations as needed.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Ensure services are delivered in compliance with IDEA, COMAR, School's policies, and applicable professional standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned
