This role involves providing coordinated care to patients of all age groups, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to restore or maintain patient wellbeing. The therapist will evaluate physical roles and performances of patients, provide intervention to deficits, and elicit responses, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program
• Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist
• Current Texas Driver’s License with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Design and administer the therapy treatment plan.
• Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
• Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
• Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
• Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
