About The Position

We are seeking a per diem physical therapist to join our world-class Acute Care Rehab team. As a member of our renowned physical therapy team, you will provide care for a diverse range of patients of all ages. Upon referral by a physician, you will evaluate patient condition, determine the appropriate treatment plan and set rehabilitation goals. Educating patients and family members on the most up-to-date approaches to the rehabilitation process will be an important part of this role. The commitment would be a minimum of 1-2 weekend days per month with an option of more hours if interested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Current NYS license
• At least two years of acute care experience
• Weekend coverage is mandatory

Nice To Haves

• Acute care orthopedic experience preferred
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
