As a Physical Therapist, you will create a healing atmosphere that enhances the Cleveland Clinic treatment experience. You will assist in providing highly specialized treatment for bones, joints, muscles and tendons specifically designed for the unique needs and health backgrounds of your patients. In many cases, these patients are dealing with pain, so remaining sensitive and compassionate is important in helping them regain their health. Ultimately, your efforts can provide the initial drive and support they need to continue forward in their healing journey. This role will provide to patient populations involving chronic care, ICU, stroke, vascular and some orthopedics. This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work between 8:00am and 4:30pm with a requirement of 2 weekends per month. Options to picks up additional shifts during the week are available.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Open to new grads with inpatient experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family.
• Perform therapy interventions.
• Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other caregivers.
