We're seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to a medically complex patient population. Candidates with inpatient hospital experience are preferred, but we also welcome therapists who are eager to expand their clinical skills and are committed to learning in an acute care setting. Located in Reno, NV, PAM Health Specialty Hospital is a 24-bed Critical Care Hospital specializing in the treatment and recovery of patients with serious illnesses and injuries. Our patients often require advanced medical management and rehabilitation for conditions including: Trauma recovery, Stroke, Cardiovascular disease, Infectious diseases, Complex wound care, Amputations, Ventilator weaning, Other medically complex conditions. As a smaller, specialized hospital, you'll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your patients and their families while collaborating with a close-knit interdisciplinary team. Requirements

  • PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
  • Current BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Inpatient hospital experience preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Patient/patient management, delivery, direction and supervision of care provided in an age- appropriate manner, consistent with the principles and practices of the Physical Therapy Practice Act of the state where the hospital or clinic resides, the professional code of ethics, and the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.
