About The Position
Functional Pathways is currently hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist at Penick Village in Southern Pines, NC. Penick Village is a continuing care retirement community located in the charming town of Southern Pines, NC, known for its vibrant downtown and equestrian activities. The community offers a variety of living options, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing, with a focus on providing quality, person-centered care. The Physical Therapist shall screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan, and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
- Active state license required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, and clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure
Responsibilities
- Screen patients
- Evaluate patients
- Re-evaluate patients
- Develop discharge plans
- Make revisions in established plans of care as supervised by the physician
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
