About The Position

Wentworth‑Douglass Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for their full-time (36 hours per week) outpatient clinic located in Lee, NH. This organization is committed to providing high-quality patient care and supporting the professional growth and development of its physical therapy team. The role is ideal for a Physical Therapist interested in or experienced with lymphedema and/or oncology rehabilitation, or a clinician motivated to develop expertise in this area through mentorship and ongoing learning. The clinical teams are diverse, including specialists in orthopedics, sports, spine, neurology, geriatrics, pelvic health, oncology rehabilitation, and lymphedema management. Many therapists possess advanced skills in dry needling, running analysis, blood flow restrictive therapy, and lymphedema care. The multidisciplinary team collaborates daily with occupational therapists, speech therapists, athletic trainers, and physicians. Requirements

  • BA or BS in Physical Therapy
  • NH Physical Therapist License
  • AHA or ARC BLS within 2 weeks of hire
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Ability to teach others
  • Excellent problem-solving, case management, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Interest or experience in lymphedema and/or oncology rehabilitation
  • Over one year Staff Physical Therapist in an out-patient setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient physical therapy services.
  • Work with patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech therapists, athletic trainers, and physicians.
  • Develop working knowledge and clinical skills with populations such as lymphedema and oncology rehabilitation.
