The Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab) will develop individualized plans of care for patients, outlining their goals and expected outcomes. They will use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain, help them increase their mobility, prevent further pain or injury, and facilitate health and wellness. This role is in an outpatient hospital-based clinic specialized in neurologic, vestibular, oncology, lymphedema, geriatric, gait and balance, post operative/ spinal pathologies and complex conditions. The therapist will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity in patients suffering from disease or injury. Familiarity with government regulations for PT practice in an outpatient setting, including the OP Therapy Cap and Claims-Based Outcomes Reporting (i.e. G codes), is required. Flexibility to work in several clinical locations, including hospital-based settings and satellite clinics, is also necessary.
