Physical Therapists in our outpatient orthopedic setting deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan—from adolescents to older adults. This role focuses on evaluating movement, strength, flexibility, and functional mobility, and designing personalized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain. Interventions include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and the use of modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, aquatics, and blood flow restriction training. Therapists also educate patients on proper body mechanics and injury prevention, empowering them to safely return to daily activities and improve overall quality of life. This position blends clinical expertise with meaningful patient connection, as therapists work closely with individuals navigating pain and recovery. Success in this role requires strong collaboration within the care team, effective time management, and excellent interpersonal communication. Empathy and a service-oriented mindset are essential, as therapists motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC, supporting a clean and organized clinical environment, and contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or certificate
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient condition.
  • Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
  • Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other support personnel.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC.
  • Supporting a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Contributing to overall operational efficiency.
