About The Position

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress. This role involves working with an inter-disciplinary team to ensure the best care for patients and their families. Productivity requirements will be set by the department annually, and accurate administrative documentation, including billing and outcome measures, is essential.

  • Must possess a thorough and accurate evaluation technique.
  • Must be able to objectively measure physical and functional status.
  • Must be able to determine functional and measurable short and long term goals.
  • Must be able to design appropriate treatment programs.
  • Must be able to modify treatment as necessary.
  • Must be able to update goals and re-evaluate discharge plans.
  • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of treatment techniques and apply them appropriately.
  • Must be able to provide patient and family education.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with appropriate team members.
  • Must ensure clinical documentation is timely, objective, and complete.
  • Must complete administrative documentation, including billing and outcome measures, accurately and timely.
  • Must interact with inter-disciplinary staff professionally.
  • Must communicate with patients and families respectfully, professionally, and compassionately.
