About The Position
Physical Therapist (PT) – Full-Time Pay: From $40.00 per hour Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Weekends as needed We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide hands-on rehabilitation services for geriatric patients across skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living settings. This role focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence through functional, evidence-based therapy. Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT, Master’s, or Bachelor’s)
- Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide treatment including gait, balance, mobility, and strength training
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Complete timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families, including home exercise programs
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation aides
