Requirements

  • Current California license as a Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality patient care and achieving successful financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to residents, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic care.
  • Ensure successful financial outcomes by managing resources effectively and maintaining compliance with billing and reimbursement requirements.
  • Mentor and supervise therapy staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
