About The Position
Physical Therapist for Private Practice Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Position: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Patient Volume: 1 patient an hour Salary: $80K to $100K per year depending on experience plus full benefits Job Summary: We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join a private outpatient clinic. In this position, you will help patients recover from injury, improve mobility, and build strength through treatment plans designed around their goals. This is a patient-focused role with a manageable schedule and time to provide thoughtful care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations and follow-up assessments
- Build treatment plans based on patient goals and physical condition
- Lead therapy sessions focused on movement, strength, and recovery
- Monitor patient progress and revise treatment when appropriate
- Teach patients proper body mechanics and home exercise routines
- Complete documentation in a clear and timely manner
