Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team oriented.
  • Experience with pediatric patients
  • At least two years of clinical experience, preferred
  • New grads are welcome
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.
  • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Colorado.
  • A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position.
  • A person who can meet the physical and mental demand level of the position.
  • PHYSICAL DEMAND CAPACITY: Consistent with published industry PDC norms or minimally: Requires the manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
  • Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from Floor to waist Waist to shoulder Shoulder to overhead
  • Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
  • Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
  • Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
  • Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Treat patients with temporary and/or long-term physical disabilities.
  • Create personalized patient care plans that encompass pain relief, restore function, and promote healing.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and adhering to all local and federal compliance requirements.
  • Provide direct supervision and communication with physical therapy assistants, and Clinical Directors.
