About The Position

Physical Therapist, PT – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Newburgh, IN Are you a Physical Therapist who has a passion for Oncology Care and Lymphedema Therapy? We have a unique opportunity to explore an advanced skillset with a qualified team supporting you along the way! Due to the nature of this position, ideal applicants would have Lymphedema certification and experience in this setting. This location is proud to support a large percentage of breast cancer patients, so please have comfort and/or experience with breast cancer specialty care before applying. Exceptional applicants without specialized education/certification will be paired to a mentor and provided training/certification. Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist specific to the State of Indiana
  • Masters' degree or higher as a Physical Therapist
  • Current CPR certification
  • Eligibility to Work: This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Lymphedema certification and experience in this setting
  • Comfort and/or experience with breast cancer specialty care

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
  • Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
  • Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations
