The physical therapist is responsible for providing competent evaluation and treatment to outpatients and/or inpatients in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, JCAHO standards and the APTA code of ethics. The physical therapist will provide intervention to individuals who experience a loss of and/or deficiency in functional independence related to chronic, traumatic or developmental illness, impairment and/or disability. Interventions are developed with the patient and their family and/or significant other(s) as partners in the rehabilitation process. Other duties as assigned.
